A & E Automotive Repair & Towing

Tow driver Travis is awesome. 10 Stars! But he should work for a better Tow Service. Called AAA Thursday at 6:00 PM. Told them my tire was flat, and the driver's side ball joint broke. They dispatched A&E. 1st A&E driver showed up in a flat bed. The car cannot roll! He left. Said someone would come in an hour. 2nd A&E driver (Travis) showed up in another flatbed! He tried every trick in the book to try and get my poor car to roll enough to get it on his truck, but no luck. He had to leave too. Said someone with a "front lift" truck would be there in an hour. Third A&E driver just called and said they didn't have a tow truck that could lift my car, and then said (AS A REPRESENTATIVE OF A TOWING SERVICE) that lifting my car was a Liability, so they just weren't coming at all! It was after 1 AM when I finally got AAA to send another Tow Service (So Cal Towing) to rescue me. He was ON TIME, and had it hooked up AND LIFTED WITH NO PROBLEMS in under 10 minutes. I was home 20 minutes after he showed up. Thank God for So Cal Towing. They could teach A&E how to tow cars!

My car broke down near the shop and they were able to fix it the same day. When a small mistake was made in the cost estimation where they quoted a lower price, they still honored the quote. I appreciated this honesty and their friendliness.

Vai is an awesome tow truck worker. He handled our van with such great care. He said every tow he does he treats the vehicle like it's his own. He was efficient, professional and friendly. Great job Vai!!! Keep up the fantastic work. If I could give 10 stars, I would!

If I could put 0 stars I would. This business is unprofessional and shady. The employees really do reflect their management. This company damaged my vehicle and apartment property because they did not properly latch our car to the tow truck. It rolled off the elevated truck right into a metal fence. The driver did not want to give us their license or insurance until we threatened to call the cops. We reported this to our insurance and theirs and they wanted us to trust their business to fix the damage they caused instead of giving us a check to go elsewhere. When we told them we no longer trusted their company with our car, they were upset and began to not answer our many calls and e-mails. When they finally did reach out to us we gave two different quotes that averaged out to $2500. However A and E said our car was worth way less than that because it's an older vehicle and they would only be giving us $1,200. At this point we were too tired to keep fighting with the unprofessional manager John. AAA who dispatched this company to us was also just telling us to accept the $1,200, so we didn't have any support. They also took months to contact our apartment owners, to the point where

Bennett, Corinna, and the entire team at A&E were 10/10. They communicated amazingly with me, got back to me in a timely manner, worked around dealership markups on parts due to items being on backorder. They worked endlessly with the warranty company who was being a pain, but they never gave up. They got a result that was more than satisfactory. They managed to diagnose my problem, get all the correct parts, and rebuilt my new engine, and put it back in, all under 2 months. It would’ve been faster if things weren’t ok backorder or warranty approvals. That’s how fast and amazing they are. They took good care of my vehicle, having it look cleaner, and run better than ever. If you choose this shop because of CarMax’s Warranty Company and their “RepairPal Certified” Shops, you are choosing correctly. They will get you right 👊🏼. Some pictures of my old engine to show the damage, and just a snapshot of the car getting its first tank of gas with the new engine! Appreciate you all at A&E!
